LIGHT SCULPTING

I cast each light sculpture in my studio to create a raw image that reflects the composite effects of applied influencing forces.  I optically document this casting event to capture a sculpted light image that is not visible until complete; then develop the various spectral colors and gradient fields that are coincident with the specific state change status at that instant in time as the original object reacts to these induced forces.  The resulting light sculpture appears as a complex interlaced fantasy that bridges between reality and heretofore unseen world.

My images may appear as abstract art, interpretations of perceived impressions received from visible objects, but are actually images constructed in time and space only that have never existed, or will ever exist; but do they do exist in the unseen fantasy world constructed by light sculpturing and are now displayed only in my work.
